The Winter Solstice will begin on December 22, 2019.

This is the time of year when the North Pole is farthest away from the Sun, thus, there are fewer sunlight hours. It marks the shortest day of the year, which will last for 7 hours and 49 minutes.

This solstice is a symbol of hope and faith. As we experience shorter days and longer nights, we are urged to hibernate and go within, which makes it an ideal time for manifestation.

Basically, manifestation is the law of attraction. It follows the idea that whatever you put out into the universe comes back to you.

No, it isn’t magic and not a guarantee. Instead, it’s you working with the universe to make your desires manifest in the physical realm.

Use the energies of the winter solstice to manifest your desires for the coming year — slow down, rest, and spend more time alone. Be more in touch with your subconscious mind and dig deeper to find your deepest desires.

Prepare for the Winter Solstice

Winter Solstice 2019 Manifestation: Bring in Light Into Your Life

You can prepare for the winter solstice as early as now. All you need is a piece of paper, flowers that you like, and a candle.

  • Write down a list of things that you want to manifest.
When the sun sets, light the candle and place the flowers next to it.
Ask the universe to help you manifest what you like. Focus on this for a couple of minutes until you are in the energy of manifestation.
Read your list aloud. You can do this as many times as you want.
Tell the universe that you’re allowing your desires to manifest in your life and you’re open to it.
    Let the candle burn.
  • You can do this ritual every night before the winter solstice… or anytime you see fit.

    Celebrate Winter Solstice 2019

Now that you’re prepared, it’s time to celebrate the winter solstice. Here are some of the things that you can do.

    Decorate Your House Accordingly

At this point, your Christmas decorations might be already up. But, no worries!

You can still add some more decorations with the winter solstice in mind. Once again, the winter solstice will give you the darkest and longest night of the year, which means that you need to have as much light in your home as possible.

You can decorate your Christmas tree with shades of orange as it symbolizes the sun. Add more orange to your home by adding candles and even using oranges as simple decorations for your holiday meal.

When thinking of ways to decorate your home, think about things that can bring warmth, light, and nature in.

    Declutter Your Home

As we approach the new year, you don’t want to take anything old into it. Let go of the things that are no longer serving you.

It’s time to declutter your home!

Set aside a day for this and let your family and friends help you out. This can be a great bonding experience.

Make a list of the things in your home that you no longer use. Check your closets and let go of the clothes that you no longer wear. Look for items in the kitchen that are no longer useful for you.

Basically, everything’s old and not working MUST GO!

    Set Your Intentions

Remember I made you prepare for the winter solstice? Now it’s time to set your intentions as clear as you can.

Your intentions are not your resolutions. I suggest that you stick to setting intentions instead.

    Why?

Resolutions are often set in negative because we tell ourselves what we won’t do. In some way, this makes us still focus on the things in our lives that we need to let go of.

An intention is a course of action with an intent to follow through. It’s all about making positive changes that will reflect in our actions. When you set an intention, you invite and embody positivity into your life. And when we focus on the positive, you can conceptualize yourself there.

You can see it, feel it, and believe it.

When you properly set your intentions, it becomes not about the results, but the journey to get to what you want.

Hence, when setting intentions during the winter solstice, find a time to reflect and treat this time as sacred. Don’t allow distractions during this time.

It has to be you and the universe at this time.

Take advantage of the powerful cosmic energies to clear the past and set stronger intentions for the coming year.

Think of the winter solstice as a baby inside a womb — it’s growing and evolving to become who he or she is meant to be. The same thing happens with your manifestations at this time. They are being formed and prepared.

Remember, there’s always light after the darkness.
