When we are asleep, our subconscious mind takes over and negative mind chatter has to take a rest.

Let’s recap a little about how the Law of Attraction functions. Everything in this universe is energy vibrating on a deeper level.

What we see as objects are really space, but they are vibrating so fast at an atomic level that we see them as solid things.

Our very own thoughts and emotions are also vibrating. So whenever you think about something and keep your focus on it, you attract more thoughts, vibrating in a similar way.

Then you start to feel the effect of your thinking physiologically in the form of an emotion.

Depending on whether or not your attention is on something wanted, the emotion will be uplifting and exciting!

The Law of Attraction works on every kind of thought, positive and negative. This is why it’s so important that you are aware of your habitual thoughts.

Before long, synchronicities will begin to occur in your experience, as the result of your continued thought.

The intensity of your vibration will bring physical meetings, events, or experiences into your life. 

As a direct result of your attention to whatever it is that you have been focusing on.

In other words, the universe matches your vibrational output with experiences that match it vibrationally.

Patterns of Thought

When we settle down at the end of the day to sleep, our minds often wander unaware into a negative pattern of thought.

One that we have habitually practiced over the course of our lives.

If you want to see a change in your life, you are going to have to become acutely aware of the way that you have been programming your brain to operate.

The only way out of the trap of negative thinking is to consciously train yourself to think. Feel and experience things differently.

We have somewhere between 60 and 70 000 thoughts a day. The vast majority of those thoughts (over 90 %) are exactly the same as the thoughts we had the day before

That is to say, we are a product of everything we have ever thought about and continue to think about.

If we tend to repeat the same thoughts over and over, we also tend to repeat the same experiences over and over. Not a lot can change as long as we are mired in this kind of repetitive mind trap.

That explains why it’s often hard for us to reprogram the way we think. With the momentum of years behind them.

The regular thought patterns in our brains find it much easier to perpetuate what has gone before than to change and start thinking in new ways.

A combination of low self-image and years of programming from cultural and familial influences causes us to remain stuck in the “reality” of our negative circumstances.

Everything around us in the world contributes to this vision of life.

From advertisers to Instagram, magazines to product branding, the wider world wants us to live in a reality where we think we need things outside of ourselves in order to be happy.

This keeps us going around in circles with a low self-image that requires us to make comparisons with others and keep purchasing things that we don’t really need.

Positive Thinking

Even with the best of intentions for positive thinking, that familiar, well-used part of our mind will pop in and ruin things by making us face reality. You don’t really think you can succeed at that, do you?

But you’ve never been able to sustain a relationship.

How likely do you actually think it is that you can earn that much money and afford that house you love? And so on.

Our thoughts are our own worst enemies. That mean dose of reality sabotaging our chances at manifesting a new life.

The good news is, our individual brains are so powerful that with some self-discipline and regular practice, we can begin to reprogram our thoughts differently and create a different reality.

The truth is that in this vibration-based universe, we are all connected. There is no separation between you and the universe.

Whatever it is that you want in your life, is perfectly obtainable.

You just have to start thinking in terms of it already existing. And what you want are not separate. Then you are connected on a very deep level to everything else.

Sleep Technique  

The sleep technique will help you carve out new neural pathways and patterns of thought that serve you instead of keeping you stuck in fear.

As we prepare to go to sleep our minds start to think in images.

We have a picture of whom we perceive ourselves to be. It accumulated images of all those years of built-up thinking. Instead of thinking in absolutes about yourself, i.e. I am good at making money.

Or I am not good at making money, I am rich or I am poor or I have always been overweight.

Whatever it is that you have as your hardwired image

Start to think instead about what kind of person you want to be. And how it would feel to be that person.

The benefit of thinking like this is that it encourages your imagination to wander into positive scenarios.

Instead of allowing those long-held beliefs to jump in and remind you of the impossibility of what you want.

As you spend those last few minutes of awake time having fun, daydreaming about the kind of person you wish to be.

Create a natural excitement and flow of energy toward what you are imagining.

You are not focusing on a specific material thing appearing in your life. Focusing on how it feels to be this upgraded, enthusiastic, connected version of yourself.

Allow your mind to wander, imagine yourself walking into that new job, choosing the paint for the new house, or having a fun, laughter-filled conversation with that perfect partner.

Feel what it’s like to wake up and feel happy, alive, eager, and ready for what the day will bring.

More About Sleep Method

When you spend those moments before sleep in an emotional, high-vibrating state, you access the subconscious. It will then send it the message that this is indeed who you are.

The fact is you already are that person; everything that you want is already within you. Any image that you form in your mind’s eye about yourself already is you.

Instead of thinking about striving to obtain things, realize that it’s about removing the blocks.

You have absolute control over your own mind and your own self-image.

The only thing standing in your way is the repeated patterns of thought that you have perpetuated.
