Everything in our lives can be transformed with the powerful energy of forgiveness.

It has an extremely healing effect that can instantly lighten your energy field.

Regardless of the individual issues that each of the main eight chakras governs, holding onto old regrets, fear, anxiety, bitterness, and resentment can slow you down, and drain your power and energetic vitality.

By practicing forgiveness for yourself, the world, and others, you will become lighter, more confident, and more empowered.

You will increase the clarity and volume of your intuition, opening blocked chakras and clearing any areas of stagnancy and stuckness.

You will feel more at peace, lighter, and renewed with an enthusiasm to take on the world!

Plus, if you’re looking for a fast and simple way to clear your energy pathways and balance your chakras, this is a powerful tool to use on a regular basis.

Here are some easy steps to follow through forgiveness:

  1. Forgiveness is about Creating Peace for Yourself

Firstly, understand this – Forgiveness is different from saying ‘I was wrong and you were right.’

Forgiveness is about freeing yourself from the burden of bitterness and anger.

You are not letting someone off the hook after they have behaved badly.

You are releasing the energetic darkness of the situation so that you can be free again and at peace.

  1. Take a Forgiveness  Inventory

Now write down the name of every person (whether alive or dead) who has caused you irritation or anger.

You might have quite a long list! You may find yourself recalling the names of people who hurt you when you were a child.

Put down every name that comes up. You may include your own name if that feels right to you.

  1. Release, Forgive, and Invite New Energy in

Now, find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed for at least 30 -60 minutes.

Go through each name on your list and as you do so, hold the image of the person in your mind.

Say to each one “I forgive you and I release you. I am free and you are free.”

This process may take a while depending on the length of your list.

Stick with it.

Try to really bring up the feelings of anger you felt at the time, and then allow them to be released as you repeat the phrase.

If you feel that some of the names on your list require more work to reach authentic feelings of forgiveness, say this instead:

“I need to forgive you for this and I am working on doing that.”

You no longer need to hold onto that negative energy in your life. Let it go.

You can conclude the exercise by thanking the Universe for the opportunity to transmute negative experiences into positive ones.

  1. Repeat the Process Nightly

Do this release regularly if you feel the need?

It’s a great idea to review your day mentally each night, going over the events of the day and seeing if there is anyone you need to forgive.

You want to do this nightly so that you are always clear of the energy of resentment and anger.

When this energy accumulates over time you create problems in your energy body and cause blockages in your chakras.
