Autumn is such a cozy, comfortable time of the year.

It’s perfect for going within and spending time on self care as the days grow shorter,

the trees lose their leaves and the cool weather begins.

Using everyday witchcraft practices and magical intentions

is an amazing way to inject some fun into your self-care routines and create rituals of abundance, peace,

and reflection this autumn.

Use this time to nurture yourself, release whatever you don’t want in your life,

and get ready for the deep, inward journey that comes with winter.

Have you ever practiced self-care rituals that use magic and witchy elements to enhance their power?

Let me know your stories, reply to me.

Witchcraft is really just another way of talking about magic, miracles

and the power of the Universe we live in.

Our ancestors knew a lot more than most of us do today about herbs and remedies,

traditions and spells and how to use them for positivity.

It’s easy to start incorporating ancient rituals back into your life.

Just follow these practices and you’ll find yourself creating a little bit of magic every day.

Quiet Morning Ritual

Begin your day with a moment of inward silence and reflection.

Brew a warm cup of tea, coffee, or cacao and light your favorite candle.

Simply sit in a comfortable space, if possible near sunlight through a window.

Take some deep breaths and set an intention for your day.

This is a simple, easy practice that does wonders to set the tone for your day and acts like an energy tune up.

Candlelight Ritual

Candle gazing is a powerful, magical way to become fully present in the moment and sink into yourself deeply.

It’s a great ritual to do when you are feeling out of sorts, if you woke up on the wrong side of the bed,

or you simply need to feel more centered.

Light your candle and sit with it at eye level.

As the flame flickers, breathe slowly and deeply, allowing yourself to be present in the moment.

Focus on the flickering flame and allow your thoughts to simply come and go.

This meditation is really potent during autumn days and nights,

and helps you to regulate your nervous system and become more aware of your mental chatter.

You can imagine the flame dissolving your concerns completely, allowing them to disappear.

Herbal Tea Ritual

Herbal tea remedies are an integral part of taking care of yourself, witchy style.

Herbal brews can infuse you with the healing power of the natural world,

and nurture you from the inside out.

Simply brew a cup of your chosen herbal tea, chamomile, nettle, ginger,  mint – whatever you choose.

Try to use loose leaf tea for extra authenticity and potency.

As it steeps, stir your tea clockwise and as you do so, imagine your intentions for yourself soaking into the tea.

As you sip, feel the comforting, warming energy of the tea as it nourishes you and brings you everything you desire.

Each sip becomes a powerful moment of magic and connection to your true self.

Magick Bath Ritual

Taking an autumn bath with Epsom salts and herbs or essential oils

is a luxurious way to combine comfort, self-care and magick.

Try combining sage and lavender, thyme and rosemary, or mint and eucalyptus.

If you cannot find dried herbs, use essential oils.

Light candles and set them around your tub, setting your intentions before you soak.

Think about what you want to release,

focus on the stagnant energy that you know you need to shake off,

and any desires that you have as you step into your bath.

As you soak in your warm, herbal bath, think about the water cleansing you body,

mind and soul – washing away what is holding you back from your best self.

When you get out, wrap yourself up warm and imagine yourself totally cleansed of whatever has been worrying you.

You are ready to sit in peace and calm and receive the wonderful,

abundant blessings that are yet to come into your life.

I hope you enjoy these simple, grounding, and intentional witchy self-care rituals this season

and make them a part of your daily routine for magic and miracles.
