One of the most highly anticipated events of the decade is coming up on the 21st December, the auspicious date stands out as a powerful day due to both the Winter Solstice and a very rare alignment taking place this year known as the Great Conjunction in Aquarius.

This rare planetary connection is incredibly powerful, and if you’re at all aware of astrology and spirituality, you’ll most likely have heard it being talked about with great excitement in certain circles.

Under the air energy of Aquarius, we will be more community-focused and revolutionary. We will look to smaller organizations and support more small-scale local businesses as opposed to huge organizations, helping local communities to thrive.

When we have balance, we can focus more on what benefits the collective, seeing how we are all a part of the Universe and connected as one human race, rather than focusing purely on our own needs. We can come together to create a peaceful, loving, and compassionate world.

As December 21st will be the shortest day and longest night of the year, it symbolizes the beginning of a ‘return to the light’ once it is over, and we start the cycle of longer days and shorter nights heading towards the summer solstice again.
