One of the key things to an effective manifestation is to meditate.🧘🏼♀️ And you are aware that there are so many ways and tools to help you with your meditation.
In this post, I want to talk about how you can use ASMR to help you. You’ve probably heard of the ASMR phenomenon that’s taking over the Internet. 🖥
If you haven’t… let me explain to you what ASMR is.
ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Physiologically, it brings a pleasurable sensation that is induced by learning to specific sounds. It’s still an “unstudied” concept but there are millions of ASMR videos online.
One study from the University of Sheffield in England says that ASMR creates “tingling sensations in the crown of the head, in response to a range of audio-visual triggers such as whispering, tapping, and hand movements.”
ASMR and The Brain 🧠
One of the main reasons why ASMR videos are so popular today is because of their potential health benefits. Many people claim that such videos help them to better deal with their mental health problems such as depression and anxiety.
Some people say that ASMR videos help reduce symptoms of insomnia. There are also a lot of people on the Internet that rave about how ASMR helps them trigger the sensation that will help them cope with stress better.
However, there is still a lack of research regarding ASMR and the scientific community is only just starting to recognize it. So far, most studies suggest that ASMR could be an effective tool to reduce stress and improve focus in our current fast-paced lifestyles.
The Common Triggers of ASMR
Another thing that you should note about ASMR is that not everyone responds to it. But for those who respond to it, they refer to certain triggers that make them feel the “tingles.”
Here are some of the most common ASMR triggers:
But again, these are just some of them. There are a lot of ASMRs out there simply because everyone experiences it differently.
ASMR and Meditation
Sounds such as ocean waves 🌊, chanting, and vibrational tones are often used for meditation. These sounds bring a profound healing effect on one’s moods and emotions.
Research has shown that certain types of sounds can truly help a person in certain tasks.
In meditation, the prefrontal cortex activity increases. This is a part of the frontal lobe that is used in various complex behaviors and contributes to personality development.
Sound healing is very popular in meditation. It’s a form of a focused awareness type of meditation, which is also referred to as sound baths. Sound baths use tools such as Tibetan singing bowls, bells, etc.
A study in the Journal of Evidence-Based Integrative Medicine shows that an hour of sound meditation helped people reduce fatigue, anxiety, anger, tension, and depression; at the same time, it helped them increase their spiritual sense of well-being.
As you can see, ASMR can also be used to improve your meditation. If you’re one of the people whom ASM appeals to, then you might want to give it a shot.
Meditation requires you to cleanse your mind and have a clear focus. As mentioned, ASMR can help relax you which will help you focus on one thing.
Using ASMR to Manifest Your Desires ✨
With so many videos of ASMR out there today, I’m pretty sure that you will be able to find a video that will resonate with you the most.
How do you know if it’s the right video for you?
Well, well it sends tingles in your brain that pushes you to relax. When the mind is relaxed, you’ll find it easier to clear your thoughts and focus.
And in meditation, these things are very important.
When you reach this level, you’ll be able to manifest what you want in your life. Take in the Law of Attraction.
To get what you want, you have to focus on it already in your life, which means that you need the right level of focus to do just that.
Consider ASMR as another form of sound meditation that will help you with the manifestation process.
You can watch ASMR videos first before you meditate. Or you can listen to it while you meditate. Choose whatever you’ll feel comfortable in!
Always remember that in meditation and manifestation, if you choose to use sound as a tool, that any sound can be the object of your focus. When we bring our mindfulness to a particular sound, we allow it to impact us at that very moment.
Level up your meditation practice and start manifesting better. Do this every day and see how it will impact your life.
Trying new meditation tools can help you boost your meditation practice. In turn, it will let you be more open to the universe and the things that you want to manifest.
Go and try something new. Maybe ASMR is the answer to your manifestation journey.
Looks like a pretty good hint to me. I’ve experienced ASMR with whispers / soft speech being very helpfull to calm down the nervous system
