We kick off December with a new lunar cycle and a New Moon in high-vibing Sagittarius on the 1st of the month.

Beginning a month with a new cycle is powerful,

especially when it’s in the adventurous, optimistic and playful sign of Sagittarius.

An infusion of upbeat energy is just what we all need to see out the rest of 2024!

One of the great things about this new lunar cycle is that the energy of this moon is all about ambition,

looking to the future and thinking big.

You know what else is awesome?

This New Moon falls directly opposite the planet Jupiter – ruler of Sagittarius

and all things optimistic and exciting!

No matter where you are at along your life’s path,

this time is about positivity and finding the silver lining in any situation.

If you are in need of setting some exciting goals,

breathing life into your dreams and feeling inspired,

get ready to make the most of this time by celebrating the New Moon your way.

Do you have a favorite New Moon ritual that you like to practice?

Let me know!

Reply to me.

Rituals are personal, individual and unique things.

The more you make yours resonate with you authentically, the more effective and powerful it will be.

Above all, make a promise to yourself to be honest

when it comes to connecting with your most heartfelt dreams and desires,

and set your intentions to align with the most authentic version of yourself.

Sagittarius Symbolic Arrow Ritual

1. Sacred Space

First off you’re going to want to create a sacred space in your home to perform this ritual.

This is a season for honoring reflection, introspection

and listening deeply to your gut instinct and intuition.

Create a soft, magical atmosphere with candles, incense,

fairy lights and even music if that helps you to get into the zone.

Sage your area, or use palo santo or cleansing essential oils.

Allow some time for the energy of your space to settle and clear.

2. Grounding

It’s always important to ground yourself before embarking on your ritual.

So make sure you are in a comfortable seat, either on a chair,

or in an easy crossed-leg position on the floor.

The aim is to feel relaxed, comfortable and centered on your breath so that you quiet your mental chatter,

and arrive in the moment with a sense of peace.

3. Dig into your Desires

Before setting intentions it’s time to get clear on what your dreams and desires truly are.

One of the best methods for doing this is to ask yourself certain questions

or prompts that can help spark your thinking and allow ideas to come.

Use the following as a jumping off point for your ideas:

What would you like to change about your current life?

How do you feel when you imagine your dreams coming true?

Are there any areas in your life right now that feel stuck or negative to you?

What are they?

How can they shift moving forward?

What would you like to do most in the world if you had the freedom to do anything,

go anywhere and be anyone? Why?

4. Define your Intentions

Read through your notes or reflect on how the questions made you feel.

What clarity did you receive?

What do you feel inspired to set as your intentions for the coming weeks?

Write down 1-3 intentions that you would most like to focus on for the next month.

Write them down in present tense using positive words, that affirm their reality now.

For example, I am open to new experiences and invite in new relationships.

I am practicing more self-love and respect for myself and others.

I am motivated to follow my dreams and I respect myself enough to reach higher.

I believe I am capable of achieving everything I desire.

Consider some action steps that you can take to achieve your desires,

and write those down too, this will help you along the way to your dream life.

5. Release your Desires

Create a symbolic arrow out of paper.

Simply write down one of your intentions and action steps on a piece of paper,

fold it into an arrow shape, or just draw an arrow on your paper!

Hold your paper with the symbolic or drawn on arrow, and visualize yourself achieving this goal.

See yourself already enjoying the outcome of your intention.

The arrow is to represent Sagittarius, the archer.

Imagine yourself embodying this energy – the energy of shooting for what you want and hitting the bull’s eye!

You can burn the arrow to release your intention to the Universe,

or keep it somewhere where you will be reminded of your desires all the time.

Just remember – the power to create the life you dream of is all yours.

You deserve it so much!
