And it’s not just about doing things beyond your comfort zone.
2023 is also all about being brave enough to let go of what no longer serves you.
2023 is all about change, and taking chances to make the life of your dreams is a key component of this.
It’s time to take a will bravely take risks and embrace the opportunities that may come our way.
At the same time, it’s also important to let go of unhealthy habits and practices that don’t support our highest selves or help us reach our goals.
Even if they’re comfortable, now is the time to reach for liberation from any oppressive restrictions that are holding you back from creating something truly incredible in the upcoming years.
So move forward with the courage to discover new adventures – and free yourself from whatever habits no longer feel like serving you!

Let me share a few things you can do to jumpstart this beautiful year!
1. Reflect on your life
We all experience change throughout our lifetimes, and these moments of transformation can have a lasting influence on our lives.
We often move into new and distinct phases, which could be thought of as “lives”—childhood, adolescence/early adulthood, “settled” adulthood, and aging.
When reflecting on my own journey through life thus far, I can easily identify points of significant change or transformation that have ultimately led to new or distinct ‘lives’.
By allowing my experience to shape me from one moment to the next and open myself up to continuous learning, each point of transformation has offered an opportunity for growth.
Thinking further on this concept, I also like to consider the big themes or lessons that unite these separate lives—overarching ideas that bridge them together as part of my life story.
You should do this too.
Think back on the major happening in your life and watch how it changed you.
Is it still helpful up to this day? If not, are you willing to let them go?
2. Choose Things that Give Your Life Meaning
Finding purpose and meaning in life can be difficult, but it is a worthwhile undertaking as it helps to shape who you are and how you live.
Ultimate happiness lies in choosing things that fill your life with joy, bring about positive changes, and provide emotional fulfillment.
Of course, that doesn’t mean neglecting everything else – make sure you strike a healthy balance in your life.
You don’t have to hold on to activities or relationships that no longer spark the same level of enthusiasm or do not help to move you forward – choose what works for you now and let go of the rest.
Taking care of yourself should always be at the top of your priority list!
3. Write Letters to Yourself
Writing to yourself is a great way to tap into your inner thoughts and gain insight into yourself.
It helps you establish an open dialogue with your internal monologue, allowing you to better understand and reflect on how you are feeling and why.
Writing is a wonderful tool for self-reflection, as it gives you the space to express difficult emotions while discovering more about who you are, where you want to go in life, and what makes you happy.
Taking the time to write to yourself can help create moments of clarity in your life and improve your understanding of the things that truly matter.
