If you think October is done with its surprises.
There’s still another event that’s going to keep you on your toes.
It’s the Orionid Meteor Shower.
One of the best things about autumn is the Orionid meteor shower.
This shower, also known as the “Harvest Moon Meteor Shower”, occurs every year when the Earth passes through the debris field left behind by Haley’s Comet.
The Orionids are usually active from October 2nd to November 7th, peaking around October 21-22.
During the peak, you can expect to see around 20 meteors per hour.
However, even outside of the peak days, the Orionids are still a great show.
If you want to catch a glimpse of this annual event, simply find a dark spot away from city lights and look up!
The Orionids are visible all over the world, so anyone can enjoy this stunning display.
Now, what does it mean spiritually?
For most of human history, the night sky has been a source of both wonder and terror.
The stars have captured our imaginations, and the planets have served as guides for our travels.
It is only natural, then, that we should associate meteor showers with spiritual insights and wisdom.
After all, to see a shooting star is to witness the power of the cosmos firsthand.
In a way, it is a reminder that we are all just specks of dust in an infinite universe.
And yet, at the same time, it is also a reminder of the hope and possibilities that exist beyond the horizon.
In short, meteor showers remind us to look deep within the shadows of ourselves and our world, in order to find the light that lies within.
A meteor is a small celestial body that enters the Earth’s atmosphere, burning up and creating a streak of light in the sky.
For some people, seeing them is a sign from heaven or a representation of something larger than ourselves.
In many cultures, meteors are seen as a sign of good luck or a sign that something special is about to happen.
In some cases, they are even believed to be the souls of fallen soldiers or loved ones who have passed away.
Whatever someone believes about meteors, they are sure to be intrigued and amazed by their beauty and wonder.
If you get the chance to see the Orionid meteor shower, get your crystals out… it’s time for a quick meditation.
This short meditation will allow you become one step closer to the Divine.
